Aqueous coating
All of our paper cups dress to impress with a water-based aqueous coating, which is entirely plastic free and compostable at home or easily recycled. This technology uses polymers and naturally formed additives to create a product that cuts down on waste formed during industrial composting processes, while forming a thin protective layer that offers a smooth finish to the product. This lining is eco-friendly, food safe, and completely free of harmful plastics.
FSC paper
While paper is a staple of sustainable packaging; not all options are as conscious as they seem. Our Forest Stewardship Paper is sourced from responsibly managed forests or through use of recycled materials, fighting deforestation and meaning that the planet doesn’t suffer for our packaging options. Like all of the materials in our range; this paper is fully recyclable and can be home composted.
Bagasse
Crafted from the waste materials produced by harvesting sugarcane, bagasse is a sweet and diverse option for packaging materials. Made with plant fibres and formed with water and applying heat, the uses of bagasse are endless and creates an end product that remains sturdy through use with both hot and cold foods - while remaining eco-friendly from processing and formation to recycling or home composting.
Wood
Embracing the beauty of the natural world, our wood is responsibly sourced and durable, so the longevity of our planet’s natural resources as well as the functionality of our products is supported. We only use wood that supports the conservation of forests and responsible forestry practises, so you can take a sigh of relief and safely dispose of our wooden products through composting.
